EDUCTORS
The "eductor" prevents particles from settling on the tank bottom.
By keeping the particles in suspension, filtration system clogging prevention is more efficient. This translates to a cleaner tank and reduces maintenance time and bacteriological pollution.
How it work?
First of all, liquid under pressure is pumped into the eductor through its large orifice that minimizes clogging. Because of the "venturi effect", the additional liquid
flow mixes with the pumped solution and multiples the volume by 5.
Because of this multiplying effect, smaller pumps can be used to circulate a large volume of liquid.
Since smaller pumps are less expensive to purchase and they use
less energy to operate, significant cost saving can be achieved.
Construction:
Eductors are made from glass-reinforced polypropylene. The maximum operating temperature is 90°C at 3 bar.We use mainly the ¾" model in our quench oil tanks. For high temperature, model in cast 316 SS is available.
Please contact our technical service for calculation for installation in your tank.
