Basket Filters

Filter housing:
Housings with 1 or several metallic baskets.

Horizontal body design available.

Operating pressure:
Standard nominal pressure 10 bar (design at 9 bar in accordance with the European guideline PED 97/23), and other pressure values available according to ASME VIII code div 1 and  PED 97/23.

Operation principle:
The fluid flows from the basket inside to the outside. The capacity is related to the fluid type and to the considered filter medium: this can be a standard screening fabric or a calibrated slot medium made of triangular wire winding.

the “inverted basket” body design should be considered for large particle removal.

Heavy solid particles settle down to the filter bottom without plugging the basket. The operation time before cleaning is increased.
